ABOUT THE TEACHER
My name is Nancy Belsterling. I am an alumna of St. Anne School, Keystone Oaks High School, and California University of Pennsylvania. My parish has always been St. Paul of the Cross Parish. I now live in Presto, PA with my husband Ralph, an audiologist and professor at California University of Pennsylvania.
My previous teaching experiences included teaching children with emotional disorders through Allegheny Intermediate Unit and a transitional kindergarten class at Sunset Hills Nursery School. I have taught at St. Anne School since 1992. My first three years here, I taught preschool. I have been teaching kindergarten ever since! I am the Special Needs coordinator at St. Anne. Within our parish, I am an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, a Home bound Minister and a member of the Women’s Retreat Group. I received the Diocesan Golden Apple Award in 2006. It is awarded for excellent performance in the classroom, church and community. At home, I enjoy bird-watching, walking, and spending time with my family.
